We've mentioned that an excellent place to discuss items of current interest is on NextDoor.
Although an excellent (and critical) venue to enlighten fellow residents, input/comments there related to the town or town council are not official, and if you want them to "officially" hear you, be sure and do it in writing or in person at council meetings.
