After two weeks of deadlocked 2-2 votes on an appointment for David Stromberg’s vacated council seat, the council finally managed to find consensus and closure, appointing Sona Makker in a 4-0 vote.
Makker will be officially seated at the next council meeting, with her term of office expiring next November.
The discussion and deliberation wasn’t tremendously long and it’s worth a watch, as are the prior two meetings on the subject.
Maybe a bit more to come; we’re pooped out from two weeks of the rollercoaster ride. It was an E-ticket to be sure, but we think one go-round was enough, thank you.
