Fiscal Emergency: Where Is The Recovery Plan?

Despite its June "declaration of fiscal emergency," things appear business-as-usual at Town Hall (notwithstanding senior employees heading for the exits, of course).

Aside from just one public meeting in August explaining its June declaration of fiscal emergency, there has been a concerning lack of follow-up communication on the status and - more importantly - the plan for the Town to extricate itself from whatever caused the need to declare a fiscal emergency and how to prevent a repeat performance in the future.

Meanwhile, the town contemplates a new tax on residents and readies to appoint a $250k/year Interim Town Manager.
